Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Service Lead to lead our Data Platform Support team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Snowflake Data Engineering along with experience in production support, incident management, and service delivery. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can resolve complex issues, manage SLAs, mentor a team of engineers, and ensure high-quality support for enterprise data platforms.
RequirementsRequired Skills
✔ 6–10 years of experience in Data Engineering and Production Support.
✔ Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
✔ Experience with at least one of dbt, Airbyte, Airflow, or Terraform.
✔ Good understanding of Dimensional Modelling (Kimball Facts & Dimensions).
✔ Experience in Production Support, Managed Services, or Service Desk environments.
✔ Strong knowledge of Incident Management, Ticket Prioritization, SLAs, and Escalation Handling.
✔ Experience using Jira/Jira Service Management (JSM) or similar ticketing tools.
✔ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
✔ Experience managing or mentoring a team of engineers.
