About Morni Morni is a custom clothing platform helping individuals bring their visions to life through clothing. This role is with Morni's parent boutique - Mansi Studios, based out of Sector 15, Faridabad.

Every garment is made-to-order and created collaboratively with our clients, combining thoughtful design, quality materials, and strong craftsmanship.

We are looking for a Design Manager to join our Faridabad atelier and help bring client visions from concept to finished garment.

The Role
You will work closely with Mansi Studio's Head Creative Designer to ensure designs are translated accurately into production.

This role sits between design and execution.
You will be responsible for coordinating with:
Pattern Masters
Tailors
Embroiderers
Sampling teams
Vendors and production partners
Your goal is simple:
Make sure every approved design comes to life exactly as intended.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Development
Assist in converting client visions and creative concepts into production-ready designs
Create and maintain design documentation
Coordinate sketches, measurements, materials, trims, and embroidery requirements
Ensure all design details are communicated clearly to production teams

Production Coordination
Work directly with pattern masters, tailors, and artisans
Track sampling and development timelines
Monitor production progress and resolve bottlenecks
Ensure deadlines are met

Quality Control
Review garments at various stages of production
Maintain quality and fit standards




Identify and resolve construction or finishing issues before delivery

Documentation & Organization
Maintain design records and production files
Organize client measurements, sketches, approvals, and revisions
Support workflow tracking and communication across teams

Ideal Candidate
2–5 years experience in fashion design, garment development, or production coordination
Solid understanding of garment construction
Experience working with Indian ethnic wear and western wear
Excellent organizational skills
Strong communication and follow-through
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Comfortable working in a fast-paced custom clothing environment
Bonus Points
Experience with luxury or made-to-order clothing
Knowledge of embroidery techniques and surface development
Experience working directly with artisans and tailors
Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools
Location Requirement
This is a full-time, on-site role in Faridabad.
Only candidates currently based in Faridabad or nearby NCR regions who can reliably work from our atelier will be considered for interviews.
