Job Description:

To manage procurement of non-project (indirect) materials and services including corporate purchases, and services, ensuring cost efficiency, timely availability, and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Operations
- Execute end-to-end procurement:
- PR → RFQ → Bid evaluation → Negotiation → PO issuance
- Handle categories:
- Consumables (PPE, Stationary )
- IT, admin, facility & service contracts
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid operational disruptions

2. Techno-Commercial Evaluation
- Conduct techno-commercial bid evaluations
- Compare:
- Technical specifications compliance
- Pricing, taxes, logistics cost
- Delivery timelines and warranty terms
- AMC
- Prepare comparative statements (CS) and recommendations

3. Cost Optimization & Negotiation
- Drive cost savings through:
- Competitive bidding
- Vendor negotiations
- Alternate sourcing




- Develop rate contracts / framework agreements
- Track and deliver annual savings targets

4. Vendor Management
- Identify and onboard vendors
- Maintain Approved Vendor List (AVL)
- Monitor vendor KPIs:
- On-time delivery
- Quality performance
- Develop backup vendors for critical categories

5. Inventory & Demand Coordination
- Work with O&M; / user teams to:
- Forecast demand
- Identify critical spares
- Support inventory optimization:
- Minimize excess inventory
- Avoid stockouts

6. Contract & Service Procurement
- Manage:
- AMC / service contracts
- Facility management contracts/ Security services / manpower services
- Ensure explicit scope, deliverables, SLAs, and penalties
