Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Experience:

5+ years overall experience in Quality Assurance, with 5+ years of solid automation scripting experience using Python.

Job Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements to design clear, detailed, and effective test cases.
- Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Pytest, Katalon, Cypress, UFT, or equivalent.
- Automate UI-based testing, API testing and ETL Testing; exposure to performance testing is a plus.
- Conduct functional, regression,



integration, and system testing across test cycles.
- Review, log, track, and document defects, test results, and resolution steps.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test scripts, test data, and test reports.
- Ensure adequate test coverage across multiple environments and releases.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
- Participate in test cycle closure activities, including lessons learned and quality metrics reporting.
- Proactively suggest process improvements and contribute to continuous quality enhancement initiatives.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Open to working with Pytest, even if coming from a different automation stack.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
