Purpose





CEEW seeks to hire a suitable candidate for the position of
Research Analyst to expand its work in the area of low carbon economy,
particularly revolving around the energy sector and the in-house Global Change
Analysis Model (GCAM). The work will constitute becoming proficient with the
in-house model, data collection and processing, literature review, and data
visualisation. The work aims to feed into the modelling activities done in the
Low Carbon Economy team, impact State-level climate policies and inform the
larger energy debate in India.

Low Carbon Economy’s work on modelling and policy analysis
is driven with the broader objective to support India’s energy and climate
policy through evidence based unbiased research and cutting-edge analytical
approaches. The candidate should have a strong interest in working with data,
climate policy issues along with inclination towards understanding India’s and
global Net-Zero debate.
