Job Title: Social Management cum Labour Welfare Inspector

Location: Project Site

Experience: 3–8 Years

Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work / Sociology / Labour Welfare or related field

Responsibilities

- Monitor labour welfare activities at site (wages, working conditions, facilities)
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements
- Check availability of basic facilities like drinking water, sanitation, first aid, and accommodation
- Handle worker grievances and ensure timely resolution
- Support implementation of social safeguards and community-related activities
- Ensure no child labour and proper safety practices at site
- Maintain records of labour, attendance, and welfare measures




- Coordinate with contractor, local authorities, and project team
- Prepare reports on labour welfare and social compliance

Requirements

- Experience in infrastructure/road/highway projects
- Knowledge of labour laws and social safeguard practices
- Valuable communication and coordination skills
