To manage international & domestics logistics, warehouse management, documentation & compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Import & Export Operations:
- Manage international logistics including customs clearance, freight forwarding, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with global suppliers, freight partners, and clearing agents to ensure timely inbound and outbound shipments.
Domestic Logistics:
- Oversee the movement of goods across various locations within India.
- Ensure productive coordination with transporters, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and internal teams.
Warehouse Management:
- Supervise warehouse operations, including inventory management, space optimization, and safety compliance.
- Implement best practices to ensure timely receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of shipping, customs, and compliance documents.
- Manage logistics-related documentation for audit, billing, and payment processes.
Budget Management:
- Monitor and control logistics expenses within the approved budget.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service levels.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track key logistics KPIs (OTIF, transit time, freight cost per unit, etc.) and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain regular MIS and dashboards for visibility and reporting.
