Position: BO – Settlement – Primary Market & Issuances Service
Level : SA
Work Location: Bangalore – Client location (Hybrid – 3 Days Work from Office)

Required Skills:

Experience in Back Office (BO) Operations within Capital Markets / Securities Operations.

Hands-on experience in managing Notes, particularly EMTNs (Euro Medium-Term Notes).

Experience working with Calculation Agents, Issuing & Paying Agents (IPA), and ICSDs such as Euroclear and Clearstream.

Positive understanding of Primary Market & Issuances processes.

Knowledge of Securities Settlement, Settlement/Delivery, and Corporate Actions.

Strong understanding of the Front Office to Back Office (F/O to B/O) processing lifecycle.

Experience in transaction reconciliation, settlement monitoring, and issue resolution.

Good understanding of operational controls, risk management, and regulatory reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of Summit application.
- Exposure to international settlement markets including Euroclear Bank, Clearstream Luxembourg, and other domestic markets (French, Italian, Belgian, Spanish, and US markets).

Responsibilities





Key Responsibilities:

- Validate and ensure compliance of legal documentation related to securities issuances.
- Enrich, validate, and confirm issuance transactions in the system.
- Monitor settlement and delivery of securities across domestic and international markets.
- Coordinate with Trade Support, Front Office, Legal, Accounting, counterparties, custodians, and paying agents to resolve settlement-related issues.
- Perform reconciliations, monitor suspense accounts and positions, and ensure data accuracy.
- Manage securities-related events and contribute to regulatory reporting.
- Prepare operational and activity monitoring reports.
- Ensure adherence to operational controls, procedures, and risk management standards.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile:

- Higher education with knowledge of Market Finance.
- Experience in Securities Operations/Post-Trade/Global Settlement.
- Strong understanding of securities products and settlement lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail and ownership.
