We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Production (Final Assembly) to lead final assembly operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in consumer durable manufacturing with strong expertise in production planning, manpower management, quality, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

Lead Final Assembly operations and ensure achievement of daily & monthly production targets (UPH).

Responsibilities

- Plan and optimize manpower deployment for smooth production execution.
- Drive improvements in First Time Right (FTR), productivity, and overall operational efficiency.
- Monitor and reduce scrap while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to ISO, IMS, Process Control Plans, and production documentation.
- Coordinate with PPC, Maintenance, Tool Room,



and Materials teams for seamless production.
- Conduct regular machine audits and ensure preventive maintenance compliance.
- Maintain high safety standards with a focus on zero accidents and employee training.

Qualifications

- Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 6–7 years of production experience, including at least 5 years in the consumer durables or manufacturing industry.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of final assembly, pre assembly, door foaming operations, production planning, manpower management, quality systems, Six Sigma, and Process Control Plans.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
