Job Purpose: Head - Production is responsible for leading the overall production function within the precast business unit. The role involves overseeing daily operations, managing production teams, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety compliance, optimizing costs, and aligning operations with strategic goals. The position plays a key leadership role in driving productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all factory and site production activities.

Responsibilities

Production Management:

Oversee the entire precast production process, ensuring timelines,



quality benchmarks, and delivery targets are consistently achieved through robust planning and monitoring.

Factory & Site Operations Management:

Oversee day-to-day operations at the factory and project sites, ensuring smooth coordination between teams, processes, and machines for uninterrupted production.

Resource Management:

Ensure optimal use of manpower, materials, and machinery to achieve productivity goals while maintaining tight cost control and budget adherence.

Drawing Interpretation & Execution:

Interpret complex engineering and structural drawings to ensure accurate execution in the production process and identify design-related gaps proactively.

Design & Specification Understanding:

Oversee key design and structural concepts to communicate effectively with engineering teams and ensure precision in product output.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation including production records, quality reports, incident logs, and compliance files, ensuring readiness for audits.

Risk Management:

Implement and oversee safety protocols, identify operational risks, and proactively mitigate hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Stakeholder Management:

Coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders such as the quality, design, planning, and logistics teams to ensure end-to-end alignment.

Process Improvement:





Drive initiatives to enhance production processes, adopt new industry practices, and leverage emerging technologies to improve output and reduce inefficiencies.

Safety Compliance:

Oversee team wellbeing, promote health and hygiene standards at production sites, and ensure compliance with applicable labor and safety regulations.

Industry Awareness & Strategic Alignment:

Stay updated with market trends, advancements in precast production, and best practices to position the unit competitively and steer long-term operational excellence.

Employee Engagement:

Lead and mentor production engineers and shop-floor personnel, fostering a performance-driven, collaborative, and safety-conscious culture.

Brand Positioning:

Ensure Adani's brand values are shown in all interactions. Strengthen relationships to boost the organization's brand and trust within the market and company.

Team Development:

Build a high-performing team. Set clear KPIs, track progress, and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Educational Qualification:
