Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Record to Report (R2R) Operations Specialist to support end-to-end finance operations with a strong focus on Account Reconciliations, Financial Reporting, General Ledger Management, Month-End Close, Financial Analysis, and Compliance.

This is a senior-level individual contributor role requiring strong expertise in Record to Report (R2R) operations, financial accounting, reconciliation processes, and financial governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial information while supporting timely month-end and year-end close activities in accordance with accounting standards and internal control frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Record to Report (R2R) Operations

- Manage end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and post complex journal entries, accruals, provisions, and accounting adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.

Account Reconciliations & General Ledger

- Perform detailed General Ledger (GL) and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations.
- Review reconciliation reports, investigate outstanding items, and resolve discrepancies within defined timelines.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of financial transactions.
- Support reconciliation of intercompany accounts and other high-risk balance sheet accounts.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare financial reports and management reporting packages.
- Support statutory and management reporting requirements.
- Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and unusual transactions.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.

Fixed Assets & Financial Accounting

- Manage Fixed Asset Accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, amortization, asset transfers, retirements, and reconciliations.
- Process accruals, provisions, and recurring accounting adjustments.
- Support financial consolidation activities where applicable.

Treasury & Cash Management





- Perform bank reconciliations and treasury-related accounting activities.
- Monitor cash transactions and support cash management processes.
- Reconcile treasury accounts and investigate unreconciled transactions.

Internal Controls & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with SOX controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strong internal control processes across R2R activities.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to audit queries.
- Ensure financial transactions comply with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

- Identify opportunities to improve R2R processes through standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support implementation of process optimization projects to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control.
- Recommend best practices for financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with Finance, Business Operations, Treasury, Tax, Audit, and Shared Services teams.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes.
- Provide timely updates on financial close activities and reconciliation status.

Required Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in Record to Report (R2R), Financial Accounting, or General Ledger operations.
- Strong hands-on experience in Account Reconciliations and General Ledger Accounting.
- Experience managing Month-End Closing, Financial Reporting, and Financial Analysis.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
- Experience supporting audits and compliance activities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced global finance workplace.
