Livspace is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and passionate Furniture Design Intern to join our team in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity to work on trend-driven and commercially viable furniture collections across retail and e-commerce channels while gaining hands-on experience in product design and development.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing furniture concepts across living, dining, bedroom, and storage categories
Conduct research on furniture trends, materials, finishes, and consumer preferences
Create mood boards, sketches, presentations, and technical drawings
Support 3D modeling and rendering using industry-standard design tools
Collaborate with sourcing, merchandising, and visual merchandising teams
Assist in product development, sample evaluations, and design documentation
Support seasonal collection planning and product innovation initiatives
Requirements
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Furniture Design, Product Design,



Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field
Strong passion for furniture, home décor, and retail design
Proficiency in tools such as SketchUp, Rhino, AutoCAD, Blender, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator
Strong visualization, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills
Portfolio showcasing furniture or product design projects preferred
