We are looking for an experienced Manager – Production to lead production operations in an automobile parts manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in wiring harness and press component manufacturing, production planning, process improvement, and team management.

Job Details

- Position: Manager – Production
- Industry: Automobile Parts Manufacturing
- Location: Poonamallee, Chennai
- Experience: 10+ years
- Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering
- CTC: ₹7 LPA
- Reporting To: GM – Operations
- Travel: Other company branches, as required

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage assembly line and production operations.
- Ensure daily production targets for wiring harness and press components are achieved.
- Drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous process improvements.
- Manage production manpower and lead shop-floor teams.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time customer deliveries.




- Maintain plant readiness for customer and quality audits.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.

Key Skills

- Strong knowledge of Wiring Harness Manufacturing.
- Experience in Production Management and Assembly Line Operations.
- Expertise in Line Balancing and Process Optimization.
- Understanding of Automation & Manual Production Processes.
- Working knowledge of IATF standards.
- Excellent Team Leadership, Problem-Solving, and Decision-Making skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Achieve production targets within planned manufacturing cost.
- Ensure 100% adherence to delivery schedules.
- Maintain First Time Right (FTR) quality standards.
- Control rejection and rework within acceptable limits.
