Job Description

We are hiring a Lead Test Engineer to support cloud modernization initiatives within Credit & Verification Services. This is a hybrid role based in Hyderabad, requiring approximately 40% office attendance each month.
As a Lead Test Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and driving the quality strategy across products and platforms, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
You will work closely with Engineering, DevOps, Product, and Business stakeholders to support the delivery of reliable, scalable, and secure solutions.
You will be #LI-hybrid based in Hyderabad and reporting to Director Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the overall quality strategy, including functional, automation, performance, data, and security testing.
- Lead and support a team of Test Engineers, promoting consistent testing practices and knowledge sharing.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and testing solutions.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, DevOps teams, Product Managers,



and business stakeholders to integrate quality practices early in the development lifecycle (Shift-Left).
- Define, track, and report quality metrics and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.
- Lead root cause analysis for critical defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive automation practices that support productive and reliable software releases.
- Contribute to release governance activities, production readiness reviews, risk assessments, and release signoff processes.
- Advocate for testability, reliability, and observability during software design and architecture discussions.
- Apply AI and Generative AI tools to design, develop, and maintain reusable testing frameworks, utilities, accelerators, and engineering assets that improve productivity and testing capabilities across the quality engineering community.
