Job Title : Graphic Designer

Position Summary :
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and motivated Political Graphic Designer to join the marketing and communications team at Chandigarh University. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, strong proficiency in design software, and the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling graphics for various digital and print media.

Key Responsibilities :
Design Creation : Develop visually engaging graphics for a variety of media including digital platforms (social media, websites, email campaigns) and print materials (brochures, posters, flyers, banners).
Brand Consistency : Ensure all design work aligns with the university's brand identity and visual guidelines.
Collaborative Projects : Work closely with the marketing, communications, and event teams to design promotional materials and creative assets for internal and external campaigns.
Social Media Content : Create and optimize graphics for social media channels to increase engagement and brand visibility.
Event Materials : Design event invitations, banners, posters, and other marketing materials for university events, conferences, and seminars.
Web and Digital Design : Assist in the creation of web graphics and multimedia content to support the university’s online presence.
Adapt and Update Designs :



Make revisions and adjustments to designs based on feedback and evolving campaign needs.
Photography and Video Editing : Assist in post-production of images and videos for marketing purposes (optional but preferred).
Trends and Innovations : Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to maintain a fresh and relevant design approach.

Key Requirements :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or a related field.
Experience :
At least 2-9 years of proven experience in graphic design, preferably in an academic or educational setting.
A robust portfolio showcasing a variety of design work (digital and print).
Skills :
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
Knowledge of video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Creative flair, with attention to detail and a keen eye for design trends.
Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills :
Knowledge of motion graphics and animation (After Effects or similar tools).
Should have experience in CorelDraw.
