Role: Accounts Manager – Finance & Accounts (Full-time, on-site)

Location: Chennai (Alwarpet)

Experience: 8–10 years, preferably in a manufacturing / export-oriented unit (nutraceuticals / cosmetics / natural extracts), with hands-on product costing

Education: M.Com / MBA (Finance) with costing exposure;
ICWA / CMA (Inter) an advantage

Compensation: As per industry norms

Key Responsibilities

- Product Costing (essential): Prepare product-wise cost sheets (BOM-based);
standard vs. actual cost and yield/wastage analysis;
landed cost of imports and export pricing support;
inventory valuation;
costing inputs for pricing, margins, and new products.

- Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain complete books on Tally ERP / Zoho Books;
monthly closing, trial balance, P&L;, and balance sheet schedules.

- Taxation & Compliance: GST, TDS, PF/ESI filings;
e-invoicing;
Income Tax, Customs, and Export-Import regulations;
coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for audits and assessments.

- Budgeting & Business Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets and periodic business forecasts (revenue, costs, cash flow)



in coordination with functional heads;
monitor performance against budget through MIS, with variance analysis and corrective inputs to Management.

- Banking & Cash Flow: Banking operations, reconciliations, working capital monitoring, cash flow projections;
import/export bank documentation.

- Reporting, MIS & Liaison: Monthly MIS to Management on financials with budget vs. actual tracking, cost trends, ageing, and compliance;
liaison with governmentdepartments, banks, and consultants;
supervise accounts staff.

Software Proficiency

- Tally ERP and Zoho Books (essential);
MS Office – advanced Excel for costing models, Word, PPT;
GST portal and e-invoicing tools.

Skills

- Robust analytical and problem-solving ability, particularly in cost analysis;
high attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good communication in English and Tamil;
Hindi preferred. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential financial information with integrity.
