Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Geography lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and school standards.
- Utilize interactive teaching methods, visual aids, and digital tools to enhance student understanding.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, projects, and examinations; maintain accurate records of progress.
- Provide individualized support and remedial instruction to students who require additional assistance.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development workshops, and professional development programmes.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, counselors, and administrative staff to promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Engage with parents and guardians through regular communication, parent‑teacher meetings, and progress reports.
- Contribute to co‑curricular and extra‑curricular activities, especially those related to geography (e.g., field trips, model UN, environmental clubs).
- Uphold the values and mission of, ensuring fairness, empathy, and integrity in all interactions.
- Degree in Geography or a related discipline from a recognized university.
