Job purpose: The role will manage and oversee the supply chain for large-scale solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and delivery of materials and services, ensuring the timely and cost-effective execution of solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies for solar EPC projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budget. Assess risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns. Forecast material needs, coordinate with suppliers, and monitor project progress to ensure uninterrupted supply. Procurement Management:
Oversee the procurement of solar panels, trackers, inverters, BESS, transformers, switchgear and other related equipment. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.



Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory procurement requirements. Logistics & Inventory Management:
Coordinate the transportation and delivery of materials and equipment to project sites. Maintain an optimized inventory system, ensuring accurate tracking and availability of materials. Resolve any supply chain or logistics issues, minimizing disruptions to project timelines. Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers, ensuring high- quality service and timely delivery. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other internal teams (say technical, quality, finance and operations) to ensure seamless integration of the supply chain with project requirements. Cost Control & Budgeting:
Monitor and control supply chain-related costs to ensure adherence to the project budget. Analyze cost-effectiveness and identify opportunities for cost savin
