Honeywell is seeking a highly motivated Material Management Specialist II to manage end-to-end material planning and inventory execution, ensuring uninterrupted production through proactive supply risk management, inventory optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. The role is responsible for maintaining material availability, improving inventory health, driving supplier performance, and supporting operational excellence across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Valuable Knowledge of SAP MM Module Knowledge and Hands on experience in Rapid Response (Kinaxis) Supply Planning Module, Power BI and tableau. Ensure material availability to support the Master Production Schedule (MPS)through effective planning and execution in SAP. Monitor material coverage, identify supply risks, and drive timely mitigation to prevent production disruptions. Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities, including conversion of planned orders to PRs, while ensuring timely conversion of PRs into POs. Track supplier acknowledgements, PO confirmations, delivery commitments,



and past due orders while driving timely escalations. Conduct daily and weekly material reviews with Procurement, Logistics, and Production Planning to align supply with demand. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) database to ensure accurate material planning and inventory management. Review, validate, and optimize raw material safety stock levels, inventory parameters, coverage profiles, and planning master data in accordance with Global Design Manual (GDM) standards, including NPI Drive inventory optimization initiatives to reduce excess, obsolete inventory (IOS), and improve inventory performance. Monitor Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) health, collaborated with Procurement on recovery actions, and improved supplier inventory performance.
