Role: Senior Manager, Data Science & Analytics – Search Product Analytics Lead
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager / Lead Data Scientist to own the Search Product Analytics function at eBay. In this role, you will partner closely with the Search product and engineering teams , using eBay’s vast data ecosystem to uncover insights, influence the Search roadmap,



and drive customer-centric innovation across our marketplace.
You will manage a team of data scientists, champion experimentation excellence, and develop analytics strategy for one of eBay’s most critical user experiences — Search. This role combines hands-on analytics depth , strategic impact , and leadership responsibility .
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Analytics Leadership
Serve as the analytics leader for eBay’s Search product, setting the vision for data-driven decision-making and influencing long-term strategy. Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business collaborators to define success metrics , establish analytical frameworks, and guide prioritization.
