Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Intern who is passionate about sales, technology, and cybersecurity. The intern will support our sales and channel development initiatives by identifying new business opportunities, engaging prospective customers and partners, and assisting the sales team throughout the lead generation process.
This internship provides practical exposure to B2B technology sales, cybersecurity solutions, CRM platforms, and channel partner management.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential customers, MSPs, ISPs, and channel partners across India.
- Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, email campaigns, phone calls, and other outreach methods.
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team.
- Maintain and update prospect information in the CRM.
- Follow up with prospects and partners to nurture business opportunities.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, quotations, and sales documentation.
- Support digital marketing campaigns and webinar registrations.
- Conduct competitor and market research.
- Participate in customer meetings and product demonstrations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Interest in B2B sales and business development.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and email communication.
- Quick learner with a positive attitude and willingness to work in a startup environment.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity, cloud computing, or networking is an advantage but not mandatory.
