Job Summary:
Provide supplier development leadership, technical expertise, and project management of performance improvement initiatives with suppliers. Coordinate supplier improvement needs with Strategic Procurement, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Engineering and Operations personnel. Position at (Pressure Management Business unit At Mahindra World City, Chengalpattu) is a strategic resource that will plan, develop and implement actions to drive continuous improvement at suppliers.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Lead Supplier Continuous Improvement projects Conduct supplier trainings if necessary to improve supplier’s performance Current and potential suppliers’ audits to understand and assess their quality system to determine if it meets Emerson requirements. Develop and follow up corrective actions or development plans to supplier until meets our objectives Commodity Projects Support, including but not limited on NPD, Regionalization, Localization, Supplier Shifts for Risk Mitigation,



Cost Savings or Tooling Replacement Conduct Technical Reviews for NPD FA & Pilot Run, follow with suppliers in cooperation with Commodity Teams and Quality Teams Monitor and improve the performance of awarded suppliers Resolve NCR as soon as possible, least but not limited to communicate with suppliers, coordinate rework, root cause analysis and corrective action plan, improvement and follow up Create SCAR to supplier for following up corrective actions' completion & tracking effectiveness Follow up ECN with suppliers in time Use appropriate tools and processes, to include, but may not be limited to the following: Lean Techniques, Six Sigma Tools, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Capability Studies, Process Mapping, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility Analysis (Gage R&R;) Manage projects through completion, using Quality Assurance, Engineering and Procurement associates as needed across the business Conduct training at sup
