Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to initiate and drive technology, software, product, and/or solution development using in-depth technical expertise in a specific area. Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development (R&D;) for in-depth product or technology-related issues.



You will also showcase your expertise by supporting strategic corporate technology management and future product/software/solution architecture.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the R&D; Software Product Development in the Automation Business Area, Energy Industries in the Bangalore location and will be reporting to the R&D; Team Manager. Main stakeholders are the Product Managers, Engineering teams and Test teams.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Investing efforts into expanding competence portfolio beyond the area of specialization, assimilating developments in complementary technologies, tools, and methodologies, and integrating learnings into daily activities.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance SCADAvantage or other software components and product features using contemporary full-stack development technologies.
