About the Role Andromeda is building its India platform, and we are hiring a Director of Finance – India to serve as the first senior finance leader for the region .
This is a greenfield leadership role with a real mandate to build the India finance function from the ground up —covering controls, reporting, compliance, treasury, and team leadership—while acting as a trusted business partner to India leadership and a financial bridge to North America.
You will report directly to the Group President, India , with a dotted-line to the VP of Finance (North America) , operating within the long‑term, permanent‑capital model of Constellation Software Inc. (Andromeda is a permanent capital acquirer of vertical market software businesses and part of the Constellation Software Inc. (We acquire, operate, and grow market‑leading software businesses worldwide with a long‑term ownership mindset.
Build & Own India Finance
Establish the complete India finance infrastructure: controls, reporting frameworks, compliance, and scalable processes
Build and lead the India finance team; Implement systems and support initiatives such as ERP migrations
Financial Reporting & FP&A;
Deliver monthly management reporting, forecasts, and statutory accounts
Provide transparent variance analysis and decision support to India leadership and North America
Statutory, Tax & Regulatory Compliance
Own compliance across Companies Act, GST, TDS, FEMA/RBI,



and Transfer Pricing
Lead external audits; coordinate with tax advisors and internal audit teams
Cash Flow, Treasury & Risk
Partner with North American treasury on FX, intercompany, and cross‑border matters
Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks in India
Business Partnering & M&A; Support
Support M&A; due diligence, valuation, and post‑acquisition integration for India targets
Act as the primary finance interface between India operations and North America
12+ years of progressive finance experience , including 5+ years leading a full finance function
~ Significant experience working with North American (US/Canada) parent organizations
~ Strong hands‑on expertise in Indian statutory, tax, treasury, and compliance
~ CA (India), CPA, ACCA , or equivalent
~ Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting / Business (MBA preferred)

Greenfield or “build‑from‑scratch” finance leadership experience
Exposure to M&A; , post‑merger integration, or portfolio environments
Experience with CSI or similar permanent‑capital / acquisition-led models
SaaS / vertical market software industry exposure
First finance leader for Andromeda’s India operating group
Real ownership to design, build, and scale —not inherit—a finance function
Long‑term platform with no exit pressure , focused on durable value creation
