Role Description The Restaurant Captain is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences across CHPL concepts. This role oversees daily service operations, including table allocation, order taking, coordination with kitchen and bar, and service quality checks to ensure smooth, timely, and courteous service. The Restaurant Captain guides and supports service staff,



conducts pre-service briefings, reinforces menu and service standards, and helps resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally. The role involves monitoring food and beverage presentation, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and assisting with upselling and special promotions. The Restaurant Captain also contributes to training new team members, maintaining accurate billing, and ensuring that all guests receive consistent, high-quality service aligned with CHPL’s brand ethos.
Strong supervisory skills with experience leading front-of-house teams and coordinating daily restaurant operations.
Sound knowledge of food & beverage service standards, menus, pairings, and basic hygiene and safety practices.
Previous experience as a Restaurant Captain, Team Leader, or similar role in a premium or fine dining environment is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
Diploma or certification in Hotel Management or Hospitality, or equivalent practical experience in the restaurant industry.
