Position Overview

The Java Technical Lead & Architect will lead the architecture, design, and development of retailcloud's core backend platform, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across multiple product lines, including Billing, F&B;, Mobile POS, Omni-Channel, and ERP integrations. The role is responsible for driving technical strategy, mentoring engineering teams,



establishing architectural best practices, and delivering robust distributed systems that support the company's long-term growth and innovation.

Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, distributed microservices using Spring Boot and Java 8+.
- Provide technical leadership, team building, mentoring, and guidance to the development team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Design and optimize caching strategies, batch processing frameworks, and messaging systems.
- Ensure high performance and scalability of databases with expertise in SQL and query optimization.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide reliable solutions for large-scale systems.
- Introduce recent architectural components and continuously improve overall system architecture

Requirements
- Senior (8+ years), with prior experience as a Technical Lead or Architect on large-scale distrib
