Role Description The Senior Mechanical Designer will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support the design and development of components for electric vehicle systems and related hardware. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed technical drawings, developing mechanical designs for enclosures and assemblies, and using CAD tools to model and optimize components for performance, manufacturability, and reliability. The role involves supporting R&D; efforts by translating functional requirements into robust mechanical solutions,



conducting design reviews, and iterating based on test feedback and field performance. The Senior Mechanical Designer will also coordinate with electronics engineers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs into complete products, while adhering to safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and Machine Design for precision component and assembly development.
- Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering knowledge for structural analysis, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
- Candidates should possess advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for 3D modeling, detailing, and design documentation.
- Candidates should possess experience in Research and Development (R&D;) for prototyping, testing, and continuous product improvement.
- Relevant experience in automotive or electric vehicle systems, including enclosures for electronics and thermal management, is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline is preferred.
- Ability to work in office in Ahmedabad, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and manage multiple design projects to deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry standards, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA) is an advantage.
