Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced AGM – Engineering Head to lead and manage engineering functions for a USFDA-regulated OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) manufacturing facility. The role will be responsible for ensuring high equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering & maintenance function for OSD manufacturing operations.
- Ensure maximum uptime and reliability of production equipment (granulation, compression, coating, packing lines).
- Drive preventive & predictive maintenance programs .
- Handle utility systems (HVAC, water systems, compressed air, etc.) in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with USFDA, WHO, and other regulatory guidelines .
- Lead qualification & validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) for equipment and utilities.
- Manage breakdown maintenance and implement root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (cost reduction, energy efficiency, automation).
- Lead and develop the engineering team , ensuring capability building and performance management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, QA, EHS) for smooth plant operations.
- Manage vendor development, AMC contracts, and project execution .
- Ensure adherence to EHS and safety standards .
