Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Contract Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of contracts for IT services and data, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with Astellas’ objectives.
• Contract Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and execution to renewal and termination, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
• Requirements Gathering: Work with DigitalX stakeholders to ensure requirements are adequately documented and shared with vendors.
• Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks associated with contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DigitalX, Procurement, and Legal, to ensure alignment on contract scope, terms, and service delivery.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor vendor performance against contract terms and service level agreements (SLAs),



ensuring compliance and addressing any discrepancies.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of contracts and related documentation and provide regular reports to management on contract status and performance.
• Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to contract management and vendor relationships.
• Team Development: Work with junior members of DigitalX Contracting team to provide guidance on specific contracts, develop their skills, and foster a team environment.

Requirements Required Qualifications:
• Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Law, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience negotiating, executing, and managing IT services and data contracts.
• 5+ years of experience managing relationships with vendors, with a robust understanding of vendor governance structure, processes, and best practices.
