APM TerminalsRole Overview-
A Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in computer systems and databases.
The role requires attention to detail, basic computer knowledge, and positive typing speed.
Role Responsibilities-
Responsible for Invoicing and complete order desk management from Chennai Yard.
Coordinate with the HO for the machine arrivals, GRN and import documentation.
Complete Inventory Count and management of Machines, Attachments and Consumbles. Purchase order Releases for both Machines & Attachments & Consumables for Imports & Local Vendors under the supervision of S&O; P Manager.
Coordinate with HO for Tier 2 Supplier Purchase Order to Delivery and GRN for the Special Attachment Business.
Record Management Timely customs Clearance of Import machines & attachments.
Efficiently managing imports containers from different Plants in cost effective manners. FIFO management for attachments & buckets.
Price release for the sales codes with S&OP; Manager.
Managing the WH for In & Out bound operations.



Handling Letter of Credit transaction Import & Export.
Required Experience & Skills-
BCOM / MCOM Positive typing speed and accuracy.
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
Attention to detail. Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills.
PG Diploma in Logistics Management 0–2 years of experience in data entry or similar roles (freshers may also apply)
