The Interior Designer - FF&E; supports the design and specifications of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment across luxury and contract interior projects. Working under the Head of FF&E;, the role involves selecting and specifying FF&E; items, developing material schemes, preparing documentation, and coordinating with vendors to ensure design intent, quality, and budget alignment from concept to installation.
Design Development and Selection:
Assist in the development of FF&E; concepts that align with overall interior design direction.
Select furniture, lighting, accessories, window treatments, rugs, bedding, and artwork.
Ensure FF&E; selections meet quality, durability, and functional standards for the intended use.
Layout Planning:
Collaborate with interior designers to develop and refine FF&E; layout plans that align with the overall spatial and design intent.
Assist in space planning for furniture placement, circulation, and functional zoning across different project types.
Use CAD or BIM software to prepare and update FF&E; layout drawings and support documentation.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with interior designers during all design phases.
Coordinate with the quality and site teams to address FF&E-related; queries during tendering, production and installation phases.
Review shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
