Vigilant Technologies is looking for a Pre-Sales & Support Engineer (On-Field) to provide end-to-end technical support, from pre-sale solutioning to post-sale Support, for enterprise-grade Security, Fire Safety, Telecom and ELV/BMS solutions in Hyderabad.

Products:

- Enterprise-grade CCTV & Video Surveillance solutions
- Access Control systems
- Fire Safety & fire detection solutions
- Telecom infrastructure – EPABX, IP-PABX, Gateways
- Passive Networking (structured cabling, racks, patch panels, etc.)
- Other ELV (Extra Low Voltage) and BMS (Building Management Systems) solutions

If you've worked hands-on with enterprise-grade CCTV, fire safety or related ELV products from brands like Bosch, Axis, Tyco, Pelco, I-PRO, Honeywell or similar and you're equally comfortable presenting a solution to a client and then getting hands-on to install or troubleshoot it, this role is built for you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct site surveys and assess technical feasibility at client/prospect locations
- Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, system designs, and datasheets in coordination with the sales team
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients, consultants, and channel partners




- Respond to technical queries during the sales cycle — specifications, compliance, integration, compatibility
- Support tender/RFP responses with technical documentation and compliance sheets
- Provide on-site installation, configuration, and commissioning support for CCTV, access control, fire, and ELV systems
- Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for hardware, network, and software-level issues at client locations
- Handle client escalations on-site and ensure timely resolution within SLA

Preferred Candidates:

- Positive Communication skills
- 3–7 years of technical pre-sales and field support experience in CCTV, fire safety, access control or related ELV products
- Hands-on product experience with at least one of: Bosch (Fire/Security), Axis, Tyco, Pelco, I-PRO or a comparable enterprise-grade brand
- Working knowledge of IP networking basics (IP addressing, VLANs, PoE, NVR/VMS setup and troubleshooting)
- Comfortable being on-field for both pre-sale activities (surveys, demos) and post-sale work
- Ability to read and work with technical drawings, BOQs and system schematics
- Based in Hyderabad
