Job title: Interior fit outs - Quantity surveyor

Industry: General contracts of Interior Fit out/Civil

Qualification: BE-Civil

Experience: Minimum 3-4 years

Location: Chennai

Reports to: Planning manager

Salary: 3.5-4.5 lakhs CTC (per annum)

Job description:

- To take measurements for billing of client and vendors. Bill of materials (BOM)and Bill of quantity(BOQ) for Interior fit-out and Interior design projects.
- To take quantity from CAD drawings and make drawings in AutoCAD.
- This job majorly involves office and site measurement works of billing for client and vendors.
- Prepare Budget, schedule, and tenders for the project.

Requirements:

- Must have basic knowledge of all Interior details, i.e., furniture details, Electrical, plumbing, tiling.
- Minimum 3 yrs of experience working on quantity surveying in an Architecture/Interior firm.-
- Experience in commercial and residential projects.

Role:

- To take Bill of materials (BOM), Bill of quantity(BOQ), budget,



schedule and tender for Interior fit-out and Interior design projects.

Skills required:

- Basic Knowledge of software like Excel &, Word and positive knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Projects.
- Ability to read all the site drawings.
- Ability to prepare Bill , BOQ from CAD drawings.
- Communication skills English - Both verbal and written skills.
- Ability to learn, improve knowledge and skills required to meet the expectations of the role.

Responsibilities:

- To prepare a budget and schedule for a project.
- To prepare BOQ & BOM.
- Rate Analysis and tender preparation.
- Attend refresher QA/QC training on quality and process compliance.
- To Contribute and support the projects team and design team.
- Delivering Work on time.
