Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PHP Team Lead to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Laravel, a deep understanding of OOP principles, PHP coding standards, and experience in unit testing. Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in MySQL/PostgreSQL and basic knowledge of Kafka. Experience with VueJS is essential, and knowledge of other JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or ReactJS would be a plus. The position requires strong communication skills, an ability to work in an Agile setting, and the flexibility to learn new technologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor the PHP development team, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain applications using Laravel framework, with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Write unit tests and ensure robust test coverage for all critical application components.
- Manage and optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL databases for performance, scalability, and reliability.




- Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate backend services with VueJS frontend (experience with VueJS is a must).
- Work with Kafka for real-time data streaming and messaging systems.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices, applying them to improve existing systems and processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 8-10 years of experience in PHP development, with at least 3-4 years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Strong expertise in Laravel and deep knowledge of PHP OOP principles.
- Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL database management and optimization.
- Experience with Kafka for distributed messaging systems.
- Working knowledge of VueJS, with experience in Angular or ReactJS considered a plus.
- Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and team management.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.

- Location: The role is based in Vadodara (initial 15 days) and Ahmedabad.
- Contract-to-Hire: Opportunity for full-time employment after the initial contract period.
- Rate: 1.5 Lac INR per month.
