Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Accounting & EPC Finance
● Manage end-to-end project accounting for solar EPC projects from work order
to commissioning.
● Track project-wise budgets, costs, margins, advances, retention amounts, and
vendor payments.
● Prepare and monitor project cash flows and working capital requirements.
● Coordinate with project managers for milestone-based billing and
certification.
2. Statutory Compliance
● Ensure accurate and timely GST filing, GST credit reconciliation, e-invoicing,
and compliance with input tax credit (ITC) rules.
● Handle TDS deductions, challans, returns, and reconciliation.
● Support statutory, tax, and internal audits.
● Maintain compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other
applicable laws.

3. Accounting Operations
● Oversee day-to-day accounting including AP, AR, general ledger, bank
reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and asset capitalization.
● Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, project P&L;, and
management dashboards.
● Maintain books as per accounting standards and internal SOPs.
● Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants,



and government departments as
needed.
4. Reporting & Controls
● Prepare accurate monthly/quarterly MIS, cash flow reports, variance analysis,
and forecast statements.
● Build financial controls and SOPs for procurement, payments, inventory, and
project cost tracking.
● Review and optimize processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and
compliance.
5. Additional Responsibilities
● Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
● Assist management with cost analysis, risk assessment, and pricing support.
● Oversee documentation, agreements, vendor files, and compliance records.

Required Qualifications
● Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
● 6+ years of experience in Finance/Accounts.
● Mandatory: Experience in Construction / EPC / Infrastructure sectors.
● Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Ind AS/Accounting standards, and statutory
compliance.
● Experience with ERP/Tally/Zoho Books or other accounting systems.
● Robust Excel and financial analysis skills.
