The company is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support the procurement operations for our tools manufacturing business by sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining inventory levels efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, components, and tools.
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery timelines with vendors.
Maintain and monitor inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
Generate purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt.
Collaborate with the production and design teams to understand procurement needs.
Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Maintain documentation and prepare procurement reports as required.
Requirements:
Education: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Fresher or up to 1 year of relevant experience
Skills:
Robust negotiation and communication skills
Understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes
Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (preferred)
Ability to work independently and within a team
