Job Title: Business Analyst (Finance & Data Engineering)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a robust background in Finance and Accounting, coupled with expertise in data design, data engineering, and data visualization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, understanding business requirements, designing data flow, and rendering insights into Power BI dashboards. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:

- Financial & Accounting Expertise: Analyze and interpret financial data to provide meaningful business insights.

- Data Design & Engineering: Work closely with data engineers to design and optimize data models, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.

- Data Visualization: Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and usability.

- Business Process Understanding: Gather and document business requirements to support financial reporting and analysis.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with finance, IT, and business teams to define and implement data-driven strategies.

- Performance Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in data processing and propose enhancements to improve performance.

- Compliance & Governance: Ensure data integrity, security,



and compliance with financial regulations.

- Automation & Integration: Support automation of financial reporting and integration with various data sources.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 14+ years of experience in business analysis with a strong focus on finance and accounting.

- Expertise in financial data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.

- Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data engineering concepts.

- Strong experience in designing and visualizing data flows.

- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and report development.

- Knowledge of SQL and other data processing tools.

- Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle Financials.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to work independently and drive business insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

- Understanding of machine learning or AI-driven analytics.

- Finance certifications (CA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent) are a plus.

- Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Location: Hybrid (Required to travel to Bangalore office once in 3 month for a week)
Work Timings: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST
