Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to join as a Senior Associate in the Accounts Payable (AP) function. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in managing end-to-end AP processes along with hands-on experience in Statutory audit and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of financial controls, vendor management, and process improvements within a dynamic and quick-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (End-to-End):
- Manage the complete AP cycle including invoice processing, vendor onboarding, payments, and reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in invoice booking and payment processing
- Handle vendor queries and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Monitor aging reports and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in AP
Audit & Compliance:
- Support external audits related to AP processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards,
and regulatory requirements
- Identify control gaps and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all transactions
Financial Controls & Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX/compliance frameworks (if applicable)
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to AP
- Prepare reports, reconciliations, and MIS as required by management
Qualifications & Skills
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- Experience: 3 +years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable and audit
- Strong understanding of end-to-end AP processes
- Prior experience in audit (internal/external) is essential
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
