We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to support our merchandising and product management activities. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of fashion/jewellery trends, product coordination, and stock management. This role is perfect for individuals looking to grow their career in merchandising within the jewellery or retail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the senior merchandiser in planning, selecting, and managing product assortments.
- Coordinate with design, production, and sales teams for timely product availability.
- Track inventory levels, sales performance, and product movement.
- Support in preparing product catalogs, pricing lists, and visual display coordination.
- Conduct market and competitor research to understand current trends and consumer preferences.
- Help maintain proper product data, SKU details, and reporting records.
- Ensure product display and packaging standards are maintained.
- Assist in current collection launches and promotional activities.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Graduate in Fashion, Retail Management, or any relevant field.
- Experience: 0–2 years (freshers with relevant internships may also apply).
- Strong analytical and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, inventory tools, and ERP systems.
- Passion for fashion/jewellery and understanding of market trends.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
