Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchase Assistant Manager to manage and
oversee procurement activities for our educational institution. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in school purchasing, vendor management, and inventory control, ensuring timely and
cost-effective acquisition of supplies and services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes for school supplies, equipment, AMC, Civil
services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to optimize cost savings.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to forecast purchasing needs.
• Ensure compliance with vendor audits and assessment.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.




• Collaborate with finance and administrative teams to manage budgets and reporting.
• Evaluate and improve purchasing systems and procedures.
Skills and Qualities:
• Graduate, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in a school or
educational setting.
• Robust negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of inventory management and vendor evaluation techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with educational procurement standards and practices.
• Experience with ERP systems or school management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
