Senior Project Engineer – Ground Mount (Solar Projects)

Location: Gujarat

Department: Project Execution / Operations

Experience Required: Minimum 4–5 years (Solar Projects)

Additional Benefits: Daily Allowance + Hardship Allowance

Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end execution of ground-mounted solar projects from planning to commissioning. • Oversee civil, mechanical, and electrical installation works at project sites ensuring quality and compliance. • Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower deployment, and resource allocation to meet timelines. • Coordinate with EPC teams, contractors, vendors, and clients for seamless project execution and issue resolution. • Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and promote safety culture at site. • Supervise and mentor project engineers, supervisors, and subcontractor teams to achieve project goals. • Review and verify technical drawings, layouts, and foundation designs in line with project specifications. • Monitor material movement, site inventory, and logistics coordination for uninterrupted work progress. • Conduct site inspections,



ensure quality control, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. • Identify risks, highlight deviations, and implement corrective actions during project execution. • Coordinate with design and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and drawings. • Prepare and present site status reports, project updates, and MIS to management and clients. • Maintain client relations and ensure smooth handover and commissioning of projects.

Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge of PV system design, layouts, foundations, and electrical balance of systems (BOS). • Proficiency in project planning and management tools such as MS Project, Excel, and AutoCAD. • Knowledge of solar software such as PVsyst or Helioscope will be an added advantage. • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with capacity to lead in office teams effectively. • Ability to work independently in remote or challenging site conditions. • Commitment to safety, quality, and timely project delivery.
