Job Description: Role & responsibilities

- WTG Procurement (tower, blades, generator, gearbox, and low- and high-speed shafts) & purchase of wtg BOP essentials for Wind Projects
- Contracts negotiations and management (Negotiation for Cost, Delivery, Warranty, Terms & conditions.)
- Vendor management
- CAPEX and Raw Material procurement Management
- Budgeting & MIS and Reporting

▶ Spearheading the procurement of electrical components for wind turbines, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
▶ Building & cementing relationships with key suppliers for smooth communication and to meet required expectations.
▶ Conducting research & evaluated recent and current vendors to determine suitability of products and contract & pricing negotiations.
▶ Collaborating with engineering and supply chain teams to develop and negotiate new components, aligning with global suppliers.
▶ Planning & executing localization of various import parts and reduce the import percentage YOY to achieve localization targets.




▶ Resolving daily issues by managing invoice discrepancies, replacing rejected materials and missed & late deliveries.
▶ Leading the advancement of new products, as well as managing and developing suppliers across a range of components like motors, cables, generators, gearboxes, bearings, cable harnessing, enclosures & panels.
▶ Defining BOM target cost (COGS), managing annual materials budget, tracking material & purchase price variance in line with the defined budget.
▶ Monitoring and optimizing the supply chain processes to achieve and sustain On-Time and In-Full (OTIF) delivery targets.

Preferred candidate profile
Should have exp. in Solar/Wind/Renewable projects
Should be qualified BE-ELECTRICAL/ MECHANICAL Core Function Competencies -
1.Negotiation skills, Analytical Skills and Problem Solving.
2. Strategic Planning and monitoring.
3. Excellent knowledge of SAP, Excel etc.
