Job Description:

A production HOD is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire production process within a company, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products by optimizing workflows, managing staff, maintaining production schedules, and implementing quality control measures, while also identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during production; essentially acting as the leader of the production team and ensuring smooth operations across all stages of manufacturing.

Key responsibilities of a production director may include:

Production Planning and Scheduling:
Creating and managing detailed production schedules to meet deadlines, allocating resources efficiently, and adjusting plans based on demand fluctuations.

Team Management:
Hiring, training, and supervising production staff, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and addressing employee concerns.

Quality Control:
Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards, identifying and addressing quality issues promptly.
