Job Description

- To receive the materials ordered by the purchase department and supplied by the vendors in a proper maintains as per the procedure.
- To ensure the correctness in the quality, quantity, specifications, condition of the materials received from vendors.
- To stock the materials received from vendors properly as to ensure easy access identification, verification, handling, maintenance etc.
- To ensure proper stocking of materials by using appropriate method of care and preservation to avoid any damage and loss.
- Update of RM,PM and Finished goods stock ledger.
- Issues materials from store to production unit as per requirement and maintain record.
- To ensure a smooth issue of materials to the issue department.
- Daily verifies the inventory of finished goods for their correctness in physical quantity with respect to ledger closing balances after the day end operation.
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly/ quarterly stock report to the concerned authorities.
- Manage stores entries in SAP software related to mechanical / electrical / electronic components




- Keeping a record of material and restocking the store accordingly
- Generate a material received report timely
- Conduct quarterly physical or as required
- Coordinate and handle freight and movement of equipment
- Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies
- Responsible for the maintenance and storekeeping of all inventory items kept in the factory
- Ensuring that the store is kept clean and organized
- Handling store Audit with ownership and authority.
