Job Description:

Role Name Senior Officer (Centre for Design & Technical Excellence)

Role Description Conduct performance testing of products, including wind load, air permeability, water intrusion, and durability tests, in compliance with IS, EN: BS, and ASTM standards.
Prepare and maintain test reports, documentation, and compliance records for internal reviews and client requirements.

Role purpose To validate current products as per business requirements, ensuring quality, performance, and compliance through effective design, testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Reporting to Senior Executive (D&D;)

Qualification B.Tech (Mechanical/Civil)

Location Kanpur

Responsibilities Heads KRA (Key Result Areas) KPI (Key Performance Indicators)

1. Conduct performance testing of products, including wind load, air permeability, water intrusion, and durability tests, in compliance with IS, EN, BS, and ASTM standards.
2. Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities from sample fabrication to final installation, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
3. Prepare and maintain test reports, documentation,



and compliance records for internal reviews and client requirements.
Support lab development activities, including setup of new testing equipment, calibration, and validation processes.
4. Work closely with vendors to evaluate product components, reinforcement samples, and hardware quality through structured testing.
5. Assist in root cause analysis and troubleshooting during product failures or deviations in performance.
6. Ensure continuous improvement by identifying design enhancements, material optimizations, and testing methodologies.

4. Ensuring Product tests are conducted as per schedule.

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Experience:

Fenestration industry, Product Development, Performance criteria for doors and windows

Skills Qualification:

Team management, Communication & Presentation skill, Analytical & Planning skill, Cross function team working, 2D CAD drawings , Solidworks, Mechanical Engineering graduate.
