Job Description: A logistics supervisor oversees daily logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods through a supply chain by supervising staff, managing inventory, coordinating with carriers and suppliers, and resolving logistical issues. They are responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and analyzing performance data to identify process improvements. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and Coordinate Logistics Staff: Direct and guide logistics teams, assign tasks, conduct training, and evaluate performance to ensure operational efficiency.

- Manage Inventory: Monitor and control inventory levels, manage stock movements, and ensure accurate record-keeping of shipments and inventory.

- Oversee Transportation and Distribution: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, manage carrier relationships, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

- Ensure Compliance: Enforce compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards within logistics operations.

- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve logistical issues, delays, and problems related to transportation and supply chain processes.

- Process Improvement:



Analyze logistical operations, track performance indicators (KPIs), and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

- Communication: Maintain transparent communication with vendors, customers, carriers, suppliers, and other internal departments.

- Reporting: Prepare and analyze logistics reports for management, providing insights to inform decision-making.
