Job Description:

We are hiring a Supply Chain Manager in Ahmedabad.

* Job Title: Supply Chain & Purchase Manager (Engineering)*

Industry: Automobile
Location: [Ahmedabad]
Gender Preference: Male (as per requirement)
Travel Requirement: Yes (Vendor Visits & Finalization)
Experience: 3–7 Years (Automobile / Engineering Industry Preferred)

* Key Responsibilities*
* Procure mechanical, electrical & vehicle components as per engineering BOM
* Vendor identification, evaluation & finalization
* Conduct vendor audits and plant visits (travelling required)
* Price negotiation and cost optimization
* Ensure timely material availability for production
* Coordinate with Engineering, Production & Quality teams
* Handle RFQ, PO issuance & contract management
* Develop alternate vendors to reduce supply risk
* Monitor supplier performance (Quality, Cost, Delivery)




* Maintain inventory control and minimize excess stock
* Ensure compliance with company procurement policies

*✅ Key Requirements*
* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
* 3+ years of experience in Automobile procurement
* Robust knowledge of automobile components & vendor network
* Hands-on experience in BOM-based purchasing
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* ERP knowledge preferred
* Willingness to travel for vendor development & finalization

* Preferred Background*
* Experience in OEM / Auto Component Manufacturing
* Exposure to cost reduction strategies
* Strong analytical & vendor management skills
