Job Description:

We are hiring an Accountant in Ahmedabad.

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience Required: 2 to 5 Years
Employment Type: Full time
Salary : 30 to 35k

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate financial records, including day-to-day accounting transactions, journal entries, and ledgers.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings and returns.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, petty cash, and daily sales reports.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers regarding invoicing and payments.
- Ensure proper documentation of purchase and sales bills related to gold, diamonds, and other jewellery items.
- Maintain inventory accounts and liaise with the store for stock reconciliations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
