Lady K.C. Roy Memorial School, Tendar, Ratu, Ranchi invites applications for the position of PGT Teacher for the subjects English and Computer Science.

We are looking for passionate, experienced, and dedicated educators with strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, classroom leadership, and a commitment to nurturing confident, independent, and future-ready learners.

The ideal candidate should be able to deliver engaging classroom instruction, guide senior secondary students, maintain academic discipline, and contribute actively to the school’s academic and co-curricular environment.

Key Responsibilities

Teach senior secondary classes as per the school curriculum and academic guidelines.

Prepare lesson plans, assignments, assessments, worksheets, and academic records.

Encourage conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, communication skills, and subject

confidence.

Monitor student progress and provide timely academic support.

Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.

Prepare students for examinations, projects, competitions, and academic activities.

Participate in parent interactions, staff meetings, school events, and academic planning.

Use modern teaching methods, digital tools, and activity-based learning wherever suitable.

Subject-Specific Requirements

For PGT English

Strong command over English language and literature.

Ability to develop reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and critical thinking skills.





Experience in teaching prose, poetry, drama, writing skills, and comprehension at senior secondary level.

Ability to guide students for debates, speeches, creative writing, and literary activities will be preferred.

For PGT Computer Science

Strong knowledge of programming, computer fundamentals, database concepts, networking basics, and contemporary computing applications.

Ability to teach coding, logic building, practical work, and project-based learning.

Knowledge of Python, SQL, web basics, and CBSE/secondary-level Computer Science curriculum will be preferred.

Ability to support students in tech competitions, coding activities, and digital projects will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject.

B.Ed. preferred/required as per school norms.

Relevant teaching experience in CBSE/ICSE/IB or reputed school environment will be preferred.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Professional attitude, discipline, and strong work ethics.

Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Comfortable with digital teaching tools and modern classroom practices.
