About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Chennai. In this role, you will be part of our Chennai-based outsourcing team, working closely with our UK counterparts to deliver high-quality financial support. You’ll handle daily bookkeeping functions, support monthly reporting, and communicate with UK clients—all while being trained on UK accounting systems and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports
Perform daily bookkeeping: bank reconciliations, A/P, A/R, and payroll support




Record journal entries and ensure compliance with UK accounting standards
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings
Use cloud-based accounting software like Xero and QuickBooks
Liaise with UK clients and accountants in a timely and professional manner
Maintain organized digital records and uphold internal process standards

What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries
Hands-on experience with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks preferred)
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CA Inter / ACCA / CPA certification is a plus
